Research into the feasibility of implementing a regenerative suspension system in the HMMWV. The amount of power that can be regenerated and whether the concept is cost effective will be determined. The research includes the initial design of an innovative three phase brushless linear motor wih the purpose of replacing the vehicle shock absorbers with linear motors and analysis of the vehicle suspension using MATLAB Simulink
